Granny Square

I am very excited to be a part of a virtual quilting bee called Stash Bee, where each member uses fabric from their own stash instead of the fabric picked by the leader of the month.

This month our bee leader is Angie from Sew Scrappy Quilts.  She picked Granny Square as the block for the month and she asked for an extra block to make a Project Linus quilt.  I thought this was such a great idea because Project Linus is such a wonderful organization to contribute to.  They collect blankets to distribute to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, who are need of comforting.

So here are my blocks.  This was a really fun pattern, super simple, and I loved playing with the colors.
