A couple of months ago, I participated in two I Spy swaps conducted by Lorelei over at Midnight Maker (quick note - she did a great job). The two fabrics I sent in were Resort Palm and Carrots, both by Michael Miller. I thought these were so fun and cheerful!
If you are unfamiliar with fabric swaps, it is where each person sends in a certain amount of pre-cut fabric. The host will divvy up the material sent in to all of the participants. For example, in these particular I Spy swaps, everyone cut up a yard of fabric into 56 charms (5" by 5"). We each received 56 different charms (one from each person). All the participants posted a picture of the fabric they chose on Flickr to prevent any duplicates.
It is a great way to get a little bit of many different fabrics without buying it all.

These swaps were great and I received so many wonderful and fun fabrics. I am going to put all of these to good use and make an I-spy quilt for my kiddos.
Stay tuned for more....
