Its finished! I love how my beach tumbler quilt turned out.... ok I might post too many pictures, but I can't help it! I love lots of quilt pictures!
I chose a simple white binding in Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton. I felt like the solid white helped show off the colors and kept it simple.
I quilted a line a quarter of an inch above and below each horizontal line and one vertical line through each of the tumblers. All stitched lines start and stop at the edge of the quilt.
The quilting lines worked well with the lines in the fabric design. The backing is Little Apples - Lollipop and White Linen Sweater Check by Aneela Hoey for Moda Fabrics. This fabric is so sweet and fun. I love fabric with simple geometric designs.
