The bindings for the mug rugs are cut and pressed.
Here is my helper, Artemis, keeping me company as I sew. He looks sweet and very comfortable, but don't let the sweet face fool you. His tail is twitching which means I am annoying him with my picture taking.
The mug rugs are all quilted and trimmed and ready for bindings. I have been adding the bindings and realized that I always get anxious when it comes to sewing the finished ends of the binding together. It always works out fine, I just start to feel anxiety when I get close to that step. With this project, I had 9 moments of anxiety, but by the last one I did feel a little bit better about the process.
If you missed the first part of this process, you can check out my previous post here: Mug Rugs!!!
Have a great weekend!
Candace

I've been sewing since I can remember, and have actually started TWO quilts now, but have yet to finish one. :( I'm so amazed by the fact that you not only start them, but you get them done! You're so inspiring! Can't wait to see more!
