Here are the last three of the nine mug rugs. If you missed the beginning of this story, you can get caught up by viewing this previous post: Mug Rugs!!!. These are 8" by 5" and are a good size for a beverage and a snack.
This one contains a variety of fabrics. The floral is from Flea Market Fancy by Denyse Schmidt, the red is Pearl Bracelet by Lizzy House, the blue and grey is Amy Butler's Full Moon Polka Dot in Slate, and the grey fabric is Sundea in grey by Bonnie and Camille from Moda's Ruby collection.
I love how simple this one is. The print fabrics are from Moda's Half Moon Modern collection and the binding is Robert Kaufman's Kona cotton in snow. Aqua and red are so pretty together and I love the butterflies and the large chevron print.
This one is one of my favorites. I love these colors together. The yellow fabrics and the scissors are also from Moda's Half Moon Modern collection. The blue and grey is more of Amy Butler's Full Moon Polka Dot in Slate.
Here is a look at the backs. The top two are more Flea Market Fancy and the bottom one is Coat from Millie's Closet.

Here is one more look at them all together. Now that I have made all these mug rugs, I am itching to make a quilt. It has been awhile and I have several ideas waiting on me to get started. However, before I start another quilt, I have to finish the current project I am working on and here is a sneak peek.
My sister is getting married in two weeks (eeek!... I have so much to do) and I am currently making the flower girl's dress (fabric above) and the ring bearer's vest. Once I get those done, I can get back to quilting.
On a side note, I also have some business to tend to. I am a member of Stash Bee (a virtual quilting bee) and this month's bee leader is Caroline from Quilting in the Cold. She chose for us to make a 12" scrappy log cabin block. I was so happy she chose this block because it is a great one for picking fabrics as you sew. Those kind of projects are so relaxing and fun to me. Stress free!

My block is complete (cutting it close to the end of the month, aren't I?) and it is headed for Finland.
As for the mug rugs, if you missed the first 6 mug rugs, you can view them here:
