Oklahoma Tornado Relief

As many of you know, Moore, Ok. was hit by a devastating tornado and many have lost everything.  The city has a long road ahead to recovery.

The Oklahoma City Modern Quilt Guild has started a collection of quilts to send to those in need.  It is accepting finished quilts of all sizes, colors and makes. Modern, traditional, pieced, whole cloth…all are appreciated.  The guild has already had numerous people reach out and offer quilts and support.

Quilts are due to the OKC Modern Quilt Guild by June 30th.  For a mailing address, send them an e-mail at okcmqg@gmail.com.

The guild is also creating two quilts to raise money for two charities in the form of a drawing, as money is a big need for that area right now.  A post should go up on the guild's website mid June with the details.

For more information on how you can participate, please visit OKCMQG.com.
